Love both cars. In a little dillema.

-Go for more room, slower, and more comfortable Scion TC?
-Or go for smaller faster not as comfortable 00-05 Toyota Celica GTS?

well they are both great cars but here are some factors that may help - the celica has less torque due to the 1.8 litre but has the higher redline. the tc may be slower stock but you could always go with the trd supercharger - which doesnt break warranty if you have the dealer put it in - its about 3k. then you have a pretty fast car with the better torque curve with the 2.4 litre. i think hp projections with teh supercharger are in the 230 to 240 range. also scion seems to in the spotlight with aftermarket parts. the celica probably doesnt have this advantage because its not being imported anymore. technically the tc is the replacement for the celica.

Go for the Toyota Celica GTS, I have a friend who owns a 2003 Toyota Celica GTS (w/automatic tranny) and black leather interior and she loves her car.

let me put it this way: the tc is cheaper and has trd mods avalible from the dealership but once u start putting the mods on the price will rise drastically. on the other hand the celica gts has more parts avalible, its cheaper tobuy, and u can transplant a 2jz-gte engine into it (a 94 toyota supra engine that is twin turbo which is bulletproof).

its all up to u

I would go for the scion tc because it's way cheaper, save your self the money so you can modify it, that's what I would do.
