I think you need a little of both.You need the romance to get the sex, but I think you also need some form of sex to get the romance going. But you need both to keep the love alive.

You gave the romance for dummies version, This is the guys point of view, because we do not care about the romance, we want the sex. Women like the romance so if you do not do this you may not get any sex? But romance is an attituide of anticipation between a couple that increases the desire for both parties. It starts with a flower a touch and a kiss and for a man a climax and for a woman many.

I think sex improves romance
With my current bf we started out just having sex but that wasnt enough so the romance come along as well, and we are as happy as can be
