And also, the baby would be a brain dead and horribly disfigured. There's no way you could die from labor though if you decide not to abort. You'd just get paralyzed.

Awwww. Did my little question make your brain hurt? This question is nothing compared to what you see in third world countries. It's funny that you're such a baby yourself.

I respect your opinion but if you don't get people out of their comfort zone, they stay the same.

Yes I would have an abortion, why because i would be unable to be a mother and the child would have no life being brain dead

Let me put it to you this way dear.
I would not have an abortion unless the baby had no vital signs, and I would gladly sign a waiver to have one if I were to die and the baby could be saved.
I had two natural births, both of my sons are alive and well. I never even considered aborting, even though I was raped. There was a life growing inside me, it was a part of me. My children are my very heart.
Had my children been disfigured? I would have exausted funds and gotten grants for surgery. Then lived with whatever the outsome was. It would NOT change my love for them.
Had my children been what doctor's call brain dead? I would still have the child. Some people in comas are considered brin dead, and there are some who DO wake up years later. No one can truly say whether someone will ever get well or not, all they can do is make edjucated guesses at what the future will hold for someone else.
If they were paralyzed? I would buy the coolest motorized chairs for them, made the life they had as happy as I could. However I would never kill them for being paralyzed. My exhubby is paralyzed from the neck down, he has NEVER said he wants to die. He simply learned to live with it and be happy.
If I were paralyzed from giving birth? Oh well, in my humble opinion? It would be worth it all, as long as the baby was living. I could still care for it, I would simply have to adapt to using bionic body parts, or other mechanical devices.
I think that covered all the questions.
I would however like to comment, what are these tests you are indirectly refering to that can be done to determine all these things about an unborn infant? I have not heard of many of these things being possible to find out until the child is actually born.
Blessings & Peace,
Jewel

You probably mean this question for the pro-lifers, instead of me, but yes, I would have the abortion.
If, however, the baby would be perfectly fine? And if there was only, say, an 80% or 90% chance I would be paralyzed? Then it would depend on how far along I was, as well as other factors (whether I had a spouse who could raise the child, whether I had great health insurance and so wouldn't become more of a burden to my family than necessary, etc.) whether or not I would have the abortion. If the baby was late-term, I honestly can't say, but I suspect I would try to have the baby.
And I'm still pro-choice.

your a big girl you got pregnant, you not the child has lived, and seeing as you will still live there is noreason to abbort the baby, which by the way is alive and funcioning at two weeks, put you big girl panties on and deal with it, and besides you would never know those complications until like 6 months in when you already feel the baby moving and it obviously alive, so make your owne choice i am a guy but you live with the blood of that inocent poor babies lofe on your hand for eternity,

There is no way of knowing is a baby will leave you paralyzed from the neck down. But if the birth is going to endanger the mothers life then of course she should have an abortion. Abortion is moral in such a case. Abortion is moral in cases of rape or incest. Or if the child will be born deformed in mind or body. Otherwise Abortion is murder. Just my opinion the supreme court thinks differently.

First of all, I'm a man. But IF I was a lady and if something like that would happen, I would NEVER EVER abort because that is homicide and God doesn't want anybody to commit murder.

Thats an unethical question to ask. But Yes I would.
If the baby is brain dead then it is gone already
But If the baby is not then I dont care what happens to me
I would have a baby. Babies are more importain than I am.

If the baby was brain dead then it would be dead before it gets born anyway. Thats a hard decision and no matter what my religion dictates I do not believe someone could fully answer that question unless they themselves were in the situation and faced with those choices.
