diet cola does not contain sugar which is why there are no calories essentially making it colored, carbonated water. the reason some consider diet cola dangerous is because it contains aspartame. some studies have suggested that prolonged exposure to aspartame will cause cancer. this has not been proven conclusively and even the studies that say it is bad say that it takes quite a bit to actually harm you.

first off, all soft drinks are harmful for everyone. theyre terrible for your health. huge amounts of sugar and chemicals and such, and in an ideal world, we wouldnt drink them. That being said, I am a mountain dew addict. if i ever want to lose a few pounds, all i do is drink water instead of mountain dew, and i feel great in just about 2 weeks.

second off, theyre not less fatty, they have less calories because they dont have sugar in them. fat isnt the same as calories.

Kids are still growing and there's not a lot of good nutrients in cola. Basically suger and flavours, so it's not real healthy.

Sugar is replace with a sugar substitute or artificial sweetener.
