I hate those Muslim that uses bomber or killing others in the name of Allah.
However, I do believe Muslim is quite alright and I do have alot of Muslim friends all around me.
Ever heard of the first astronaut Armstrong heard a voice when he was in the moon?
Later when he came back to earth after many years searching what is that sound, he finally found the sound were from the mosque.
Is that true?

I think, to some degree, many Christians and Catholics are disillusioned with their own religion because much of organized religion is corrupt or is not as adherent as they pretend to be. There haven't been many cases of pedophilia reported in Islam and some people (not me, but some) are offended by the growing presence of homosexuality in the church.
They see the strict adherence perceived in Islam as a welcome change from the hypocrisy of their own churches.
Some may also be attracted to the perceived power that Islam has in that they inspire absolute faith - to the extent that there are suicide bombers willing to die for their religion. This level of dedication can be awe inspiring for those who are lost and searching for something to believe in.
I should mention that I'm not pracicing any religion and all of this is speculation.

Maybe they also want some of the 72 virgins.
General John J. Pershing effectively discouraged Muslim terrorists in the Philippines by killing them and burying their bodies with pigs.
If we put a baby pig on every airline flight, then all suicide terrorists would abort their missions as they would not want their souls to go to hell. Additionally, if we drop shipped, oh say, 100,000 pigs into Gaza, I think our recon and assault efforts may be more successful. Apparently Muslims dislike the very sight of pigs A LOT!
They are also adamantly opposed to alcohol; thus, we spike their water supply with a few thousand gallons of moonshine, get them drunk and turn the pigs loose. The war would be over in a weekend.
In the 1939 film "The Real Glory," Gary Cooper portrays Dr. Bill Canavan, an American Army doctor in 1906 Manila who "tries to protect the native population from ruthless invaders" (i.e., "Muslim fanatics"). At one point in the film, the Dr. Canavan character drapes a captured Muslim in a pigskin and proclaims that henceforth that all slain Muslim rebels will be buried in pigskins, thereby discouraging their "savagery" by threatening to prevent their entry into paradise.

The main reason is that Islam is a religion famous now for being a religion or voilence and hatred, because of that some people cant help read the Holy Book Quran, and after reading it, it makes sense to them....I'm beting that after you read other Holy books there are questions in your head that still remain.....In Islam all your questions gets answered, if you go to youtube.com and search for zakir naik, you will get some answers that will amaze you. if it was such a bad religion, then why do people even bother, 1.4 billion people cant be brain washed can they!!! worth checking out, who knows you might like it, if you dont no1s forcing you

y are many Muslims converting to Christianity? and Christan's converting to atheists, etc, etc. Because there all chasing the meaning of life, they are all chasing something greater then they think they are. Why??? I am not 100%, but i think people seem to think that its all complicated and huge, when really, they have all the wisdom they need inside them. Why sit around praying to some god? If i was god, id want people to figure it all out for them self's. Start creating a perfect world through visualisation, meditation, and a strong firm belief that every thing this world needs and wants already exists, if every one terned off there TV and didn't read the paper, and created the true, heaven on earth in there minds, imagined every one getting along, and sharing and caring it would come to exist!! If you don't believe me wish for something, any thing right now, then tell yourself every 10 minutes that you already have it, its yours right now, and you will get it!! get excited that it is yours, and don't Evan have a drop of doubt.YOU HAVE IT
p.s BE CARE FULL WHAT YOU WISH FOR, maybe start with something small, say, a cup of coffee, or $50.YOU WILL GET WHATEVER YOU THINK YOU HAVE! that's why i hate TV, etc and Media, because they feed US bullshit!
peace and love be with you, Dinah.

Nowadays?! Christians have always been converting to Islam since Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came with the message of Islam more than 14 centuries ago. In Arabia, many Arabian Christians converted to Islam. Egypt, the homeland of the monastic life, converted to Islam (by the early 9th century, Muslims became more than half of Egypt's population, today Muslims make up 90% of Egypt's population). Palestyine, where Jesus and his disciples lived, is predominantly Muslim. The same goes with Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, North Africa, many regions in the Cauasus (from 7th to 17th centuries), Turkey (from 11th to 15th centuries), Indonesia (14th-15th centuries),...etc.
Islam has a much more powerful doctrine than Christianity; Islam is far more monotheistic (or let's say absolutely monotheistic), far more practical, very logical and rational, very convincing to those who are eager to know the truth, has very great stories with happy endings, comes along with science and thinking,...etc.
People who take religion seriously usually accept Islam; not just former Christians, but even Jews, Hindus, Atheists, Agnostics,..etc
Sorrowfully in the West, a rumour that Islam was spread by force and that long ago people were forced to Islam (otherwise they'd die), was spread by the Christians in order to find a justifiable answer to why hundreds of millions of Christians abandoned their faith and converted to Islam. Sorrowful again was the acceptance of this rumour as a fact in Western literature and propaganda.
Nowadays, myriads of Christians and other non-Muslims are converting to Islam while they live in non-Islamic countries!! Islam reached the hearts of its converts by the strength of its doctrine; not by force.

look into Islam and you'll find out. Islam and Christianity are very similar there is one main difference between the religions, is that Christan's be live that Jesus is God Muslims believe that Jesus is a prophet sent from God. But no one can answer your question until they educate themselves about Islam and see that Islam doesn't mean terrorism but the word Islam actually means "PEACE"

I do not see this. But Islam has converted many by telling to do so or die. Most well if your holding there child and yelling to bow or you will kill the child.
Islam is about force and death.
Show me any where in the world Islam has helped starving masses as the Christians do all over the world?

Actually if you have done your homework, you will see that a larger percentage of Islam, is moving into Chritiantiy than Christians moving into islam. However the catholics i cannot say the same for, Catholics are not Christians. They were not the original Christians ans catholics say, how can they be the original if catholosism broke away from the CHRISTIAN church a lil over a hundred years after it was formed to change document to suit how they wanted to live.
I can see why catholics are, they live in false denial to begin with. Some led astray on either side.

PEOPLE ARE FASCINATED BY RITUALS
1. They see people praying 7 times a day and somehow get confused and believe that devoutness = truth. Ritual without reality is meaningless.
2. They see the rugs, and the hats, and the veils, and they want to belong to something that has unique symbols, so that they will have a sense of belonging. Much like joining a gang, because you like their tattoos.
3. They want to be different, or were raised by strict Christian parents, and want to rebel.
There are lots of bad reason, and no good ones.
Better to be saved by grace----what Jesus did for us
Than try to be saved by works------what little we can do for God.
