I don't like religion either. I believe in God but I don't think tat he gets involved here. That makes me a deist. Ever since I was a small child, I have known that my soul has lived other lives. OK, I know I just lost some of you with that little revelation.

So what is a philosophy? I try to live my life honorably. I am a single Mom raising a 14 year old boy. I want him to grow up to be a good man who has a mind of his own.. I seek knowledge and I encourage my son to do the same.

I have no proof of past lives. It is just my personal belief.

Yes, the Golden Rule should be at the top of everyone's list.

ok..im along the same lines.. there is a creator.. ok ..we are not a random thing but we aren't as governed by this creator as some suspect or demand homage to.I believe the creator gives us a choice to make the correct choices in life..and if not we pay here.Hell is a man made myth used to control. Our creator did invest time in us and does keep a certain perspective with us and keeps us available to freewill meaning following the laws of the universe. Basic laws that each and everyone was born with right and wrong .That is between you and your creator.. The bible and others were written by man to mimic the creators teachings but added drama fire and brimstone to control the masses..You have to remember it was written when there were many forms of christians each fighting for the control.. Ok.. Well it got out of control and people have taken mans word.. the bible as God's words.. not so..we don't need the bible nor religion because we were born with universal right and wrong in us.We pay for our sins on earth and rewarded here or the next life with what we did in this one.The best thing to remember is do the best you can every day .Help someone else ,be kind dont hate, dont covet things that arent yours dont be jealous , dont be envious, dont be mean to people, basically the same things that Jesus taught.. he hung out with sinners by the way .. never judge and just do your best to be the best human you can be.. Go out of your way to take a burden off someone that can't carry it and dont hate other races .we are all one race the human race. and just think.. if you were another what would you have done to you or thought about you and then you will know how things should be.. learn everything you can learn about anything and everything and if you truly remember your past you will remember what you have learned here and keep going.. but yes I can understand and feel the same way and never bought the theory that God is waiting to punish us ..wouldn't it just be better to let the sun go supernova or massive earthquake split the earth into or some disaster that would end mankind other than check his list and checking it twice to see who gets into heaven.I have news for the doom slayers . God is a God of love, compassion and forgiveness,God only wants best for God's creation and way of life .and is not waiting there in judgment to destroy us but waiting and watching and hoping that man will realize the truth and live correctly one day and to pass to the next life with some understanding to help achieve a perfect universal harmony .

Philosophy is simply a label for 'thoughts about things which we may never know the true of'. Also, predictions of the future are prophesies, not accepted philosophies. Prophets are ones who predict the future (usually inspired by a deity), not philosophers.

I have a few (religious) philosophies:
1) That G-d controls everything - from me down to the tiniest little insect
2) I try to do everything with happiness, try to be happy all the time
3) I'm not better than anyone, everyone is equal. Everyone is special in some sort of way and you have to find that specialness
4) Always strive for higher, I can do whatever I set my mind to.
5) What doesn't kill me will only make me stronger.

My philosophy for life has been consistent. I screw up....I learn from that mistake.....I screw up again....I learn again.

Eventually I realized that I did not and would not know everything. I decided not to teach my children to do things my way or to believe what I believed. I gave my sons the ability to maintain their individuality and to always know that if they screwed up, they would have me to fall back on.

I knew that a Higher Power was responsible for the creation of all things and that somehow, someway the goodness of people and our world always over-comes the negative.

Peace....is my philosophy.

I may not quite answer the question of what is philosophy, but this is a meaningful quote which I love to share:

"The essence of healing is don't let what happened is the past affect the present and the future"

I have two sons, aged 13 and 14. I want the same for them as you want for your son. So far, so good...

Mine is: Enjoy this one life you have, your little space on Earth, and never stop striving to be a better parent; study hard; face life head-on, no excuses, respect human life, animal life, and the environment, and never bring negativity or chaos into someone else's home or let them bring it into yours.

According to me the real result of our life is based on our activities and our hard work. Neither the blessing nor our prayer helps in any sort of situations. Believe in you and you can win.

Many people ask that can anybody disprove the existence of god.

It is not necessary to prove anything which is not existed.

The only proof for the non existence of god:

for billions & billions of years no one has ever proved that he/she had seen the god, touched it or heard anything from it.

they can only argue with the examples that you cannot see the wind, you cannot touch the sun etc.. But no real facts is available for their arguement.

Those who believe in god is a fool,
Those who campaign for god is a criminal.

Be who you need to be and not what people want you to be

Look into being just Spiritual research and seek out what feels right to you

That is what counts at the end of the day

I put God first, man second, and myself last. But i use no religion.Just kindness and compassion and love for all.I use the sense and decency God gave me.I am spiritual, finding the devine within, guiding me on a personal level to do right.I think conscousness is far greater than whats contained in the human skull,it is every where teaching us without books or religion.broadcasting wisdom to those that hear

My philosophy is to do everything I can to get to the next life safely.

(Personally, I don't think you have any proof of your past lives. It's a lot like people who claim to be witches but never cast spells that do anything. It's a belief, not a fact.)
