so my boyfriend is a atheist skater who doesnt care about school and im a religious prep who is very focused on school... were in 8th grade... hes also my ex's best friend... is this wierd? could it work out? any previous experience advise? help!

You are very young, but seem to have your head screwed on the right way. Just make sure that you maintain your own values - don't try to be part of his clique if it doesn't feel right. You can always hang out separately from your cliques, that way you can learn from each other. Good luck.

well, my now husband was a nerdy asian and i was a hot party girl and i fell in love with him and we became best friends, it really doesn't matter what you look like. however, if he is an athiest and you are a religious young lady, that is a little more serious. remember you are not out to change this person and if you can deal with having someone in your life with complete and opposite beliefs as yourself then that is something you will have to deal with all by yourself. i don't think i could ever be with someone who doesn't believe in the Almighty. you are young and have a lot of life left to live, don't rush into anything. oh, and just so you know.... don't do this just b/c you are trying to make anyone jealous, you will really set yourself up for failure

well im a bmx christian and my girl i jsut stoped being with is a skater catholic / babtist anyways dont worry about the skater scene the emo scene you like him be with him you dont like the way he is dont be with him but relive your in 8th grade he wont be atheist for ever my 8th grade love was a goth now she is a sexy prep

I guess if u respect each others differences, it could work. It was almost that way with me &my ex, he was always in detention,intellegent but didnt really like to study &i was a prefect, intellegent &studying all the time.
We friends now &he told me he studied harder when he hooked up with me, because he couldnt figure out just how he got me-LOL.
&he forced me 2relax &have fun(when i could ofcause).
