Health history should be considered; it should be extensive enough in order to diagnose your current condition. It includes but not limited to your sex, age family history, hospital and drug history. You could have a very serious illness or a very simple one with the signs and symptoms you have enumerated. It could be as extensive as having the first signs of dementia, a neurological disorder or as simple as just having generalised body weakness. Gullain Barre syndrome's first sign is clumsiness, your falling down and double vision might be due to your ascending body weakness present in the disease. But even though these signs are present in GBS, it is not conclusive that you have it unless an MD checks on you personally with the help of your medical history. See a doctor.

My dear, get you to a physician and have a proper check up. These are symptoms of many different serious illnesses. They are also signs of minor ones too.

However, no one can possibly give you any sort of diagnosis in this place. Only a visit with your doctor can help you find some answers. Until you do, you will not know if it is serious or something easily treated. It is not worth waiting around to see if it just goes away.

Don't waste any time wondering IF you should go to a doctor. Do it now so that you do not regret putting it off!

I've done a lot of reading on different health conditions..... my boyfriend had the same symptoms in addition to being easily exhausted and easily frustrated. I had to literally drag him in to see his doctor. He was diagnosed with a brain cyst which was surprisingly painless to fix, and thankfully not cancer. There are so many conditions that cause similar symptoms that it makes it vital that you be seen by a doctor.

Please take the time to go see your doctor. My boyfriends doctor said he would of had less damage to the area where the brain cyst was if he would of received treatment when he first noticed the symptoms he chose to ignore. He has to take medication for the rest of his life.... sorry, I'll shut up now. I personally took this on line diagnosis test, so I could have a better understanding of my health problems. The only website which I found to be extremely helpful, and although it isn't free they do give you a general idea of what you might be experiencing and why

You need to evaluate what time of the day you are getting dizzy.....is it just when you awaken in the morning out of bed?? This could be called orthostatic hypotension, which is when your blood pressure drops really low and could cause your symptoms. It could also be hypoglycemia which is when your blood sugar becomes to low and you need sugar or concentrated carbs in your body. You would need to have your blood sugar evaluated by a doctor. Or this could be vertigo, which means dizziness. It is easily treated with some medication. There are many things that cause your symptoms so your best bet is to talk to your doctor. He will evaluate when these symptoms are coming on and be happy to diagnose and treat you! Just make an appointment in the morning.

Tiredness is due to insufficient iron in your diet - eat more meats, eggs, fish and poultry, black strap molasses, green leafy vegies, dried fruits or buy a good supplement from the chemist. Dizzy spells are a result of not eating enough causing your blood sugar levels to be too low. Hence, when you get up too quickly you will experience dizziness, nausea. RDI is 15 mg adult females.

Double vision??
Do you also have tired, itchy, burning eyes, eyeball pain, inflamed eyelids, acne, achy and tired, headaches, insomnia, fatigue and depression??? If any ring a bell, could be that you need to increase you Vitamin A. intake. Good sources of Vit. A. are liver, eggs, yellow fruits and vegies, dark green fruits and vegies, whole milk and milk products, fish liver oil. RDI - adult females is 800 mcg per day.

PEACE & LOVE & ALL THAT

I'm betting on a form of viral vertigo. Did it come on suddenly? Makes you nauseated, even makes you throw up at times? Have you had any other type of infection (e.g. flu) lately?

If it's vertigo, your doctor can get you medication to help keep the room still. Odds are that medication will make you tired (at least in the beginning), but it's totally worth it. Trust me! I'm on week 4 (almost 5) of vertigo!

Antivert and Phenergan are about to be your best friends....

It could be vertigo:
Vertigo, or dizziness, is a symptom, not a disease. The term vertigo refers to the sensation of spinning or whirling that occurs as a result of a disturbance in balance (equilibrium). It also may be used to describe feelings of dizziness, lightheadedness, faintness, and unsteadiness. The sensation of movement is called subjective vertigo and the perception of movement in surrounding objects is called objective vertigo.

Vertigo usually occurs as a result of a disorder in the vestibular system (i.e., structures of the inner ear, the vestibular nerve, brainstem, and cerebellum). The vestibular system is responsible for integrating sensory stimuli and movement and for keeping objects in visual focus as the body moves.

When the head moves, signals are transmitted to the labyrinth, which is an apparatus in the inner ear that is made up of three semicircular canals surrounded by fluid. The labyrinth then transmits movement information to the vestibular nerve and the vestibular nerve carries the information to the brainstem and cerebellum (areas of the brain that control coordination, balance, movement, blood pressure, and consciousness). There are a number of different causes for dizzy spells.

Incidence and Prevalence
Vertigo is one of the most common health problems in adults. According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), about 40% of people in the United States experience feeling dizzy at least once during their lifetime. Prevalence is slightly higher in women and increases with age.
