Doing the same routine 3 times a day or doing the same routine 3 times in "sitting"? I excercise 3 times a day between 1/2 and hour and an hour. I have a 11 month old son so sometimes it's hard to excercise for long spans of time. The routine consists of streches, crunches, and some sort of cardio (either jump roping, running or stair climbing)

Try mixing up your routine once in a while otherwise you body will get used to that and well losing weight will be like hitting a wall.
AS long as you get 30 mins of good cardio you are good.

30 mins a day is good enough, however if you want to do more, I think dividing up the routine throughout the day is better because you get some rest therefore more energy to push yourself harder later.

Each session shud be at least 20 min duration to be effective. Longer workout increase ur metabolic rate for the whole day and hence better.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

WOW. I am concerned that you are working out TOO much. Neither one of the methods you propose are healthy. In the health and fitness industries, there is a syndrome called "overtraining syndrome". It's precursor is called "over-reaching". If you are currently working out 3 times a day, you are not giving your body enough time to recover in between workouts or after workouts.

I would certainly recommend scaling back on your workouts and reducing your cardio to just one session per day, with at least one to two days per week of doing no cardio. In addition, I would recommend that you start a weight-training program. By lifting weights, you will build lean muscle mass (no worries--you won't look like Arnold Schwartzeneggar; muscles take up less room than fat). By building lean muscle mass, you'll increase your resting and exercising metabolism, which will help you to burn calories more efficiently, which will result in a healthier weight loss without having to workout 3 times a day. A GREAT resource for learning how to lift weights and structure a weight-lifting workout is "Weight Training for Dummies". Check it out and good luck to you!

I think the best workout exercise is heavy squats with a good lifting belt. Try to use heavy weights as possible . Squats will makee work all of your muscles. It is a general exercise not isolated.
