Besides the fact that they say it. They also show it. They treat you with respect. They basically light up when you are around. They want your happiness more than anything. They would do anything for you.

There's many ways to know that a person likes you.
Some people are kinda shy so they don't show much that they like you. But they do deep down inside. They might be nicer to you and spend more time with you. They'll do those small little things that people won't notice but it means a lot. You just have to feel it to know it.
Some people are more open and daring.. they'll just make huge moves to get your attention and do their best to make you get to like them. It's not like it's a bad thing. They like you and they mean it.
People may use gifts, words, letters, eye contact, emails, conversations to give a hint to the people they have feelings. It's just that both sides have no idea what they're doing is actually trying to get closer.
Humans are complicated. This love thing is complicated. You never know what we would do just to be with the person we love.

to tell you the truth.. i have found over the years.. the best judge is not someone telling all the time.. action speaks louder than words.. meaning they do for you and put you first .. before themselves no matter what.I have had girlfriends and also this is my second marriage and i have doubted like you but the truth be known.. this is the truth..the way of their actions towards you is the heart..not the words spoken in a sense of false echos..

When they do the following in any order, any day:
1) txt/call/see you alot
2) bring you lunch/dinner, and when they dont they'll definitely take you with them
3) trust you explicitly
4) defend/protect you to/from anyone
5) let you run to/cry on them, anytime-anywhere
6) will do anything for you
