havent used Vista, so no idea whether it has option of boot manager or not.

Basically what you need is boot-manager, which will allow you to boot in OS of your choice. Try googling or yahooing for "boot manager", and you'll find many softwares, free as well as paid.

Google further for "vista dual boot" & you'll find many articles, explaining many things, possibly answering all your questions.

Probably not. Previous Windows releases are notorious for offering an un-install that doesn't work right or leaves you with no OS at all.
Backup anything you want to keep, to optical media or another hard drive. Then install Vista. Chances are you will need to re-install XP if you don't like Vista.

It famous each and every of the secret agent ware on your computer and deletes it. although, in case you do not go with to attempt this, bypass into upload and eliminate courses and delete belongings you no longer use or go with.

before you install anything, create a system restore point. in that way, you can reverse it without damaging files. plus make a back up of your important files in drive d or whichever drive it is.
