This is pretty descriptive
Since I started making the effort to commit my life to the Lord, I've been having a lot of trouble with self pleasuring. Giving up lusting after women was difficult, but I managed. It's more difficult though because I fight myself trying to justify "pleasing" myself. Every fifteen minutes I start to question if it's worth it and think "what if I just do it". The hardest part now being cut off, I've been having really strong inappropriate and sometimes perverted urges and thoughts. I'm so deprived it's making me want to do crazy things. Don't worry, I am not a priest and I'm not in the business of working with kids : ) I'm very thankful the Lord has given me the strength to hold out this long, but it's getting harder and harder for me. Sorry to be so descriptive, but I'm curious if this normal, or if there's advice.

Very interesting. After an hour of thinking unpure thoughts and thinking about giving in, I opened the Bible and the page I opened to was the letter of Peter 2:14. Read it. Perhaps it's a sign. It must be, if the Lord controls everything, then I opened to that page on purpose, right?

Keep busy. Clean your room, the garage, take a long walk, etc. get a new hobby - do anything that takes your mind off sex. It is hard in the beginning, but you can train your mind. Ever notice that you are perfectly fine when you are NOT thinking about your preoccupation or problem (lust, bad urges, etc.)? So,
1. Keep yourself too busy to think of sex.
2. Avoid anything that will make you think of sex (watching certain shows, reading certain books and magazines, being in certain places where people advertize sex).
3. When the urge becomes too strong... take a long long walk.
4. Ask God the Holy Spirit for strength ahd help.
The struggle becomes easier as you go on.
Been there, done that.
I am no priest nor am I a nun. But I am celibate.

don't worry that is normal.
just try to find somethings to do whenever youre feeling that way.
it's just that it is really the most pleasurable thing to do on earth especially when youre only human. anyway, why started making effort to commit your life to the Lord? what do u mean? youre a what?...
but the more youre thinking about how much you need to fight that urge the more youre gonna think you like t do it. i'm sure you know what i mean.
all i can say is if i were you, i'll just live a normal life.
i'm sorry that's all i can say. if that doesnt help you atleast i've tried and i hope you apreciate it.

Dear Christian Friend,
In order to get over urges, you need to join a gym and excercise. Or try other hobbies that turn you away from thinking about it. And turn off the television set, it's toxic for your health and read up on meditation books. Thich Nhat Hahn may be a Buddhist, but he also talks of Christian teachings of praying. If you don't keep an open mind in meditating, which is the essential method to praying to God, you lose focus and will commit to your urges.
It's okay to self pleasure yourself to control your urges, but if done too often, you suffer from an underlying need of something that is missing in your life, which is forgetting to focus on praying.
Read up on the Thich Nhat Hahn or Emmett Fox books. God will help you.

Dear friend,
i'm muslim but i'm gonna answer u cuz we both worship the same god...
sexual relation between a man and a women is something normal that god gave it to us, but through marriage only cuz otherwise it would be adultry which is a sin and as i see, u committed ur life to the lord which means that u don't want to disobey him...so i advice u to get married not to have a girl friend for just one day to make love with her like some told u here...
about masturbation i heard that it's a sin but i'm not sure, i heard that it's not healthy but if someone is gonna masturbate to prevent himself to commit adultry then it's not a sin....still i'm not sure of these words but it makes sense....
GOD help and protect u brother :)

Well, first off, I would like to say that it is quite normal. The thoughts, that is. If you can not think of sexual thoughts AT ALL, then you've become a Jedi :). Of course, it happens all the while, so don't feel too sinned.
If you really want to get it off your mind, you should do recreational play (sports, hikes, etc.), hang out with friends, and/or get into a special relationship. Eventually, at some point, thoughts should lessen and it becomes rountines. The thoughts, that is.

It all becomes a problem when u keep thinking about the same thing repeatedly. If you are married and have your wife with you no need to control. If one wife is not sufficient and if you are having resources to support 2 wives, go ahead and marry one more. But to marry you have to accept the responsibilities which will come along with that. Children etc.
This is one thing which is overlooked now hence leading to Orphans & destitutes. So be careful in this issue. Go into more Philosophical matters. Like what is death, who are we what is our ultimate aim. Sex is one of the major things of human life, but it is not the only thing for man. But today's world will make you turn towards bad things than to make you turn towards good things. Hope you got my point. You have to be careful with your intentions and your actions. You have to first do what you preach and expect others to do.

Welcome to the human race.....God can't stop you from doing anything.....he gave you the ability to do what you think is right or wrong.
Pleasing yourself may be wrong in some peoples eyes but could be construed as self discipline.
Acting out on your desires is what's the hardest to stop.
It's mostly from the genes that yearn for procreation and lineage survival....get married and your spouse will give you the hands on advise you need.

Deprivation only increases the urge. There is nothing wrong with having sex with women, and nothing wrong with masturbation. Both are natural urges that are God given. It only becomes a problem when it gets out of balance. If you enjoy a normal sel life, it is healthy. When you deprive yourself, your urges increase and like all suppressed urges, they eventually come out the wrong way. Enjoy sex and keep it in balance with the rest of your life.

Why are you asking here, why not ask the pastor at your church. He can counsel with you and help you get some help. You could also marry Hilliary Clinton, then it would be okay to do whatever you want with other women and never have to pay for your sin of being over active towards sex in a sick way. Being married to her, is a good reason and defense in court of why you have to satisfy yourself and never again be embarrassed to do so. All would understand why then.

The Lord will understand if you want to get some pussy. It doesn't make you a bad person and to ease some of your load, there isn't a human being walking this earth that does every single thing the Bible or their religion forbids, period.
