Does anybody remember a wafer cookie shaped like a whole peanut (the shell part) that was filled with a sweet peanut butter cream?? It was a whole cookie, not a sandwich cookie like nutterbutters.

Nope they were NOT Nutter Butters. They also were NOT a sandwich cookie. They looked like an unopened peanut shell.

You mean Nutter Butters? They still make them. It's a Nabisco product I believe. I saw some in the store just last week.
