First, join a health club, because you are going to have to work out to avoid getting fat. Eat at least 4500 calories per day; you will need to keep a journal for a while until you get used to doing this and will also need to eat a small meal every 2 hrs or so. Eat pasta until you feel like you never want to see it again and drink whole milk. Make the time to prepare your meals for the day so you can just grab it and eat.
And GO TO SLEEP...your body needs the rest. shoot for 8 hrs. but absolutely no less than 6 hrs.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic. Please do not get panicky.

Eat alot of protein. I know the football players in high school would do this to gain weght in balance with there heavy workouts so your high metabolizim would be the same thing, double your calorie intake with foods like beans red meat(not lean) also eat carbs with it to help fuel your body. breads an pastas. italian foods are also usually very high in protein. but the calories are what you want to really increase! those pills are made mostly for men you should not take them if you dont want to deal with the side effects and some can casue you kidney faliure

Have you ever considered meeting with a nuritionist. I know it seems like an obvious answer, but you may be surprised. I mean, they are trained specifically to deal with your food intake and how it effects your body. You usually have access to a nutritionist when you join a reputable gym, double bonus, nutrition and weights! Good luck!

Eat more snacks, ease into an additional half of a meal. Work out if you're skinny enough you can even gain muscle. Of course always talk to your doctor see if he has any healthy tips. Do not resort to random junk food/ fast food meals.

You could take those weight gain supplements they sell in GNC. But I don't trust that stuff. You should continue to eat more and start a weight lifting program. go to www.about.com and get some weight lifting tips.
