God already knows every thing you have ever did and what he is going to do about it. So why not just zap you on to Heaven or Hell without a judgement?

God isn't going to 'zap' anyone on to Heaven or Hell. First of all because 'Hell' as is taught by most religions, doesn't exist. The words translated as Hell actually mean grave, the place the dead are in waiting for the resurrection that is promised in the Bible.

19 If our hope in Christ is good only for this life, we are worse off than anyone else. 20 But Christ has been raised to life! And he makes us certain that others will also be raised to life. 21 just as we will die because of Adam, we will be raised to life because of Christ. 22 Adam brought death to all of us, and Christ will bring life to all of us. 23 But we must each wait our turn. Christ was the first to be raised to life, and his people will be raised to life when he returns. 24 Then after Christ has destroyed all powers and forces, the end will come, and he will give the kingdom to God the Father. 25 Christ will rule until he puts all his enemies under his power, 26 and the last enemy he destroys will be death.

There has to be a judgment day to determine who will continue to live (on Earth). People will be judged by their deeds, not prior to their dying, they paid for those sins when they died in the first place, BUT by their deeds during the judgment day, which is a thousand years long. (The thousand year reign of Christ)

Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 And he hurled him into the abyss and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After these things he must be let loose for a little while.

12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. And the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Ha´des gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds. 14 And death and Ha´des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire. 15 Furthermore, whoever was not found written in the book of life was hurled into the lake of fire.

In the flood 1656 years after Adam, was that their final judgement?

We will be judged by the WORD John 12:47,48; This is history of man from Adam.

In Sodom and Gomorrah about 427 years after the flood, was that their final judgement?
The firstborn of Egypt at 857 after the flood, was that their final judgement?
The seven nations of land pirates to 898 years after the flood, destroyed by the Promised Land heirs, and to Judges 11:26; 300 years war here and there to 1198 after the flood and 1212 before Christ, was that their final judgement?

Samson, Samuel, Saul and David in war had to destroy people, 1123 to 1037 BC.
Solomon from 1037 to 997 had less war himself, but the next 391 years to 606 before Christ seen many battles.
This can not be the final judgement for for all these people. All the wars of Babylon Empire #3, the Medes and Persians of Empire #4, in Greece Empire #5, and Roman Empire #6, Jesus said of those that pierced him, forgive them Father for they know not what they do Luke 23:34; Jesus say he comes with the clouds and all see him even they that pierced him Rev.1:7; WHEN JESUS COMES HE BRINGS THE JUDGEMENT DAY WITH HIM.
1Cor.15:22-28,51-53.
AS IN ADAM ALL DIE, EVEN SO IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE MADE ALIVE
Heb.9:27; 2Cor.5:10; Rom.14:9-12; Philip.2:5,9-12;
IT IS APPOINTED UNTO MAN ONCE TO DIE AND AFTER THIS, THE JUDGEMENT.

WHAT IS JUDGEMENT? ADMONISHMENT IN RIGHTEOUSNESS TO BE BEFORE GOD.
2Pet.3:13;
Rev.20:1-6,12,13;
Rev.21:1-5;

Think of it this way. Earth is no longer an option anymore. You have to fit in somewhere that has people that are like you. People often get grandiose ideas of where they should be, but in reality wouldn't fit in. So like, God really knows you, but he is not so rude as to just throw you someplace, you need to understand why, if you don't already understand. This can be done by presenting the facts and weighing them. In other words, judgement.

Because God is fair and wants to show you how fair He is by putting infront of your eyes or your actions taken throughout your life the good and teh bad and then He can start his Judgement to see whether you have lived as a good or bad person. He is being fair until the last moment.

Probably for the same reason the right to a fair trial is necessary - so you are not thrown into prison to serve a life sentence without evidence of your guilt being presented. God is a fair and just Judge.

Hey Snake Head,
We serve a God of love.
God has given each and every one of us the choice to make. To serve Him or to follow Satan.
We at the very last moment of this life can repent of our sins and be forgiven.
There are many people on the Earth right now who know of God;s son Jesus Christ and are thinking that they are serving Him but in all reality they are serving the devil.
Its for these people that need additional teaching to accept Jesus or follow satan.
That is why God in his mercy has given all this judgement.><>

The judgement is for us. We will be brought before God, remembering all of our desires and all we've done, both good and bad, and knowing who we've become. To be honest, I think it is us who will be condemning ourselves or not. I think an evil person would be more uncomfortable in the presence of God, knowing all their sins and feeling naked before him (figuratively speaking), than they would with other sinners in hell.

because if god just chuked people into heaven or hell...well, the people in hell would be like.... 'no, we don't deserve this n stuff.........' so that is why we have day of judgment. when god will show us what we did and then we wouldn't be able to say anything

or atleast, that is what my logic says

i hope you have gone to school,,when you appear in an exam you get results for what ever efforts you had put.so,by that you come to know your own level of knowledge in that particular area.its same as that we do a lot of things in life out of which we remember only few.JudgementDay is only the final exam to assess for yourself that what all things you have done in life and to realize that what ever verdict you will get from God is fair enough.and my Dear friend start to judge yourself for what ever major event had happened in your life and scrutinize yourself.make a list of such things,you'll get the idea yourself or you can wait for the real deal.

It isn't. Some religions do not posit a judgment. In any event, there is no reason to believe in any of it -- no evidence.
