religion has never given me comfort. There are too many things about it that have to be accepted on pure faith without any backup from science. I love God and firmly believe in Him, It, whatever He may be. I have no idea what God is like but I am not supposed to know otherwise he would tell me. But I do believe that he created the universe and all of us. Even the great Einstein believed in God. The Universe is too vast and complicated not to have a God guiding it.

Yes!
I'm a Buddhist by religion, but it is a philosophy, it has answers to all most all the day to day matters. And it teaches how to discipline your self in achieving the best of you.

I respect all the religion, the good thing of it is it discipline us. The bad thing is some extremists miss use it.

May triple gem blessed you!

Regards
Dilantha

No it does not.
following a religion separates us from God. Most of them break God's Commandments.

The Father in His wisdom has seen fit to give us His Word, Jesus Christ. It's through Jesus that the path in this life is prepared. I follow my God and stay away from man made religions.><>

Depends on which religion. Religion used nicely gives me a good feeling. Elitism and power plays disguised as religion? Not so much.

When I think of religion, I think of my friends and my family but I'm not comfortable in it as you know how it would be with your relatives, especially with the little brats and troublesome Uncles.

No, I think of the sectarian division and conflict it causes between different groups who believe contrary things...it looks to me like groups furthering their own interests at the expense of anyone outside their group, rather like large bullying gangs and I don't like it at all.

it does give me comfort. especially when u know u are making ur Creator happy and your Creator will make u happy in the end. if not in this world. then happy in the hereafter.. that is very relieving to know. to know that u will be in paradise for eternity.. even if u are suffering for just 60-70years?? i choose an eternity of paradise! and the chance to be with the prophets and seek God's pleasure.
