What are Enemas and how can i get them?

One of my friends told me that there was something to lose weight quickly and they are called enemas, she didnt explain to me what were they but she just said that they were good to lose weight, so i have a couple of questions.

what are they?
how can i get them?
and is there any side effects?

you do not want an enema it is not a fun thing to have done and there are much better ways to loose weight. diet and exercise, I don't know why she told you they are good to loose weight because they are a medical procedure that clears bowl obstructions they are done by doctors.

Sounds like a myth to me. An enema is a Shallow colonic cleansing done with a internal water irrigation via the rectum. It is rather like a douch taken anally. Mind you, it is only likely to clean the lower 10-15 inches of the bowels. An enema/douch/ waterbag can be purchased from Wal Mart at low expense. In my experience and opinion it is not a weight loss solution. Along those lines a professionaly done colonic I.E. a deep bowel and lower intestinal cleansing will help drop some weight by removing built up fecal matter lodged within the bowels. That method also is good for relieving the body of toxins from old fecal matter. As a weight loss method though..it is surely bogus. However, an enema is useful for a pre cleansing before any form of anal penetration or play.

It is an absurd proposition. B/w enemas are given by injecting water/glycerine etc. thru anus so that the large and part of the small intenstine get cleaned up.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

Never, never, never use enemas as a way to lose or to control weight. An enema is used to relieve constipation, and that is it's only function. If you use enemas to lose weight, you will also lose a lot of water and electrolytes which could cause some very dangerous and life-threatening problems. DO NOT DO THIS!!! Your friend is very misinformed.

Enemas are liquid solutions to be inserted into the rectum to force the bowels to empty. They are used for severe constipation. To use them as a way to lose weight is very dangerous and can cause many problems with your body and even cause death. Don't do it!!!!!

Enemas are a flush for the colon. You can buy them at the pharmacy, you can tear open your bowels and all of your stool will go into your abdomen! There are better ways of loosing weight than sticking soap suds in your butt!

They are the injection of a solution (water, soapy water etc) into the rectum with a one use bottle w/ a 'nipple' or something akkin 2 an old-timey douche bag. You have to have them before a colonostopy. One of the the better constpation solutions. There are some freaks who derive sexual pleasure from them
