I'm sick and tired of every man expecting sex. Then when I say not unless I'm commited to someone, they act like I'm a sort of space alien! Why can't men realize we're not all sluts?

Men have a misguided notion that all women are the same. Men have the mentality that they should "rent instead of buy". The most sacred thing a person could give another is their body, so don't give in. If a guy really likes you he will wait, after all do you really think a guy will respect and settle down with a woman who gives it up on the first or second date? Not likely.

Well if a man really wants to find somebody to be in a relationship with, he will look for somebody like you. Unless he's ignorrant and doesn't know nothing about women yet. You see woman who don't put out right away get more trust from there boyfriends. A woman who sleeps with me the first night well she's gotta go, cause i'm thinking it was so easy any guy could get it and she will easily cheat. I realize that some woman are not sluts and thats what I want for a future woman. Try not meeting guy's that go out to bars or parties left and right cause they are used to easy drunk chicks GOODLUCK.

You hear only the jerks, and it is so odd that many women are attracted to them. The majority of guys are not like that. If the women quit hooking up with the morons, I think they'd stop behaving that way. And if the banana heads think so little of women, surely they must really love each other, don't you think so?. The media and Hollywood influence behavior in society. Hollywood knows sex means more dollars to them, they do whatever brings in more money.

No idea, thats exactly what I want to know...

I think it might be because sex is viewed as more of a casual thing in society, its on tv, radio, internet, etc. They automatically assume every chick is giving it away (either from prior experience or hearsay) without any or much thought to a relationship. When they encounter a girl that doesn't want sex unless she is in a committed relationship, or even more rare ... one who is waiting for marriage, they really don't know what to say/do because its a rare encounter nowadays and they haven't heard stories/opinions on what to do in that situation.

Not all men are like that. Some of you women take it to the extreme by putting us men on calenders.. "It will be xx months before you will get some of this". That is why we walk away. If you just be straight up with us, we will have the choice to either accept it or leave. But putting a date on it like it is a piece of meat will make us treat you that way..

It sounds like your problems with men is caused not by other women's behavior, but with the men you choose to go out with.
Men who are looking for "The One" probably feel the same way you do. After all, a man might go to bed with a "slut", but chances
are he's not going to marry one.

Because no man wants to pass up the chance at an actual slutty woman. He'd kick him self forever.

Well, society is changing... the defintions of family, marriage, and commitment has been altered because of that.

The only honest answers I can say that either they're too impatient or "everybody's doing it", just as my previous college roommates said to me (of course, I'm sure that not EVERYONE is doing...maybe between slight most to some).
