Absolutely it will change.

I had a chance to look at some of the handwriting I did years ago and it looked almost alien to me. Very legible. LOL

Anyway, my handwriting has gone down the tubes over the years and I don't do all that much handwriting but when I do, it is real hard for me to read and impossible for someone else to decipher.

I do think if a person were to maintain a writing regime, they would be less likely to diminish in quality, but with the computer taking over all my letterwriting, and composition, my skills.. well, you know.

Handwriting like signature is specific for an individual , but after a long time without any writing the "lumbrical muscles " of hand undergo atrophy and hand writing changes only to become normal if you continue to write for a long time again. You can get ready proof of it by comparing your writing with right and left hands.

Yes the handwriting changes and it becomes worse.
I know this from experience as i had a very beautiful handwriting and after finishing school i began to write very less and less and i noticed my handwriting became worse and worse.
Even today when i try to write better, it's still not as beautiful as it were before.
I am not discouraging you.
Maybe if you try writing more and more, it may become better.

Well.. I guess your handwriting won't drastically change if you haven't written for a long time... whereas the flow of writing as well as the speed of writing might be affected.
