If you read this and are offended then just know it is not my purpose to defend the psychobastard Hitler or his cause in any way. I was thinking though that if the Jews are God's people and millions died in the Holocaust, then couldn't that have been when God did the rapture and brought the people who deserved to be to heaven?

Are you saying that God doesn't control zyklon-b or he couldn't have stopped Hitler from killing the Jews? Maybe I'm just trying to bring some sort of meaning from behind this tragedy that isn't there.

Attempting to make sense of insanity and the need for people to have a scapegoat are two psycho analytical traits that insult ones intelligence because once insanity is explainable its not insane. The dark ages could explain a rapture and that Christians follow a theology that demands we admit guilt, implies that we do follow the anti-Christ so your tenant isn't too apologetic. When in Paul's writing in Acts (?) Saul says Jesus came to him, doesn't that constitute a second coming? Interestingly, the first Saul was a liar and was driven insane...

No, I don't believe the rapture has taken place as of yet. Why, because from scripture it clearly shows us when this time will take place. We know the season, just not the exact day nor hour.

Now, there is a group who believe it has all taken place in or around the time of the first century. But, the flaws in this "sect" has been proven time and time again.

When the rapture does take place, there will be lots of chaos going on. Loved ones will disappear right before your very eyes. Then you will be told they had to be removed because they were the evil of the world. Don't believe the lie!!!

The rapture is a Biblical teaching...the word rapture is not in scripture, but neither is the word Bible or trinity. Doesn't mean it is not there!!!

intuitive thought process but no. the jews according to the bible have been and always will be persecuted. the reason i say no is because their is too much prophecy going against your theory. the jews i don't think will be raptured. in the bible rapture is reserved to those who are true christians. the bible speaks of god's chosen people, whom are jews at the end times, but there is strong evidence to support that these people will be former jews converted to christianity. no the jews towards the end times god will hide in the mountains outside jerusalem away from harm and the rest of the world, away from the control of the antichrist. popular belief is that rapture will happen before the antichrist starts his reign on the world.

because, after the rapture takes position, then the beast takes over for 7 years, so as that ought to intend some thing, reason if it has already happen then why are not we in heaven or hell, what happen to the fast time! why are we no longer being choose by technique of GOD, why are we nonetheless right here on earth, SORRY, yet there's most of the bible nonetheless lacking in case you imagine that the RARTURE has already befell.

No, if the rapture had happened as described in the New Testament, it would have been a HUGE news event.

(And if you don't think it will happen as described, why believe it at all?)

As for the holocaust, you have no need to feel guilty or try to explain it away. Just do your part to make sure it doesn't happen again.

No there were other prophesies that needed to be fulfilled first, for example, Israel had to reestablish their Nation once again and that didn't happen until 1948.

I think Jesus was weeping for them because of the fact that He KNEW what future tragedies would befall them when He said:

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Matthew 23:37

No, the Great Tribulation only lasts seven years; after that, Jesus Christ returns to Earth bodily and sits on the throne of David in Jerusalem. Well, it's been more than seven years since Hitler.

Oh, and by the way, nobody DESERVES to be in heaven. We all deserve hell, but if we repent and trust Jesus, God gives us the gift of eternal life: Not because we deserve it, but because He loves us.

you know something as a muslim it states that death is not always a punishment. humans the creation of god are not at full understanding of our purpose in life. many humans either disbelieve in god or turn their back because they feel that god is a harsh creator. the quran states that there are mumins among the christians and jews. mumins means good doers. only allah knows why allah allowed the haulocaust and caused hitler and his followers to have such hatred in their hearts. we are taught that everything happens for a reason and we do not always know the reason until later. god never needs to explain gods intentions for example you have an ant crawling in your house. you do not want it in your house so you stomp it and kill it. did you give the ant a reason why? (i am not saying people are ants) but the point is we humans do not care for what ever reason. we have to look at the same perspective for allah. if god wants something god does it. god needs not give any explination as for why or why not. life is simpl not fare.

It has occurred to me that the rapture has already happened.

I hadn't considered it in the context of Hitler's atrocities, but you make an interesting point.

The rapture is not a Bible teaching. The Jews were divorced by God and spiritual Israel is to be his bride.
