I sent some packed oysters to a friend overseas in india?

Are the oysters supposed to be cooked or eaten raw. Please can anyone help with this?

they can be eaten either way but if you shipped them then they should be cooked unless when he recieves them they r still frozen

They can be eaten raw or cooked.
