good morning/day (hello) = bonjour
good evening = bon soir
good night = bon nuit

and if you would like to know how to say good afternoon its "bon apres-midi"

You say always Bonjour

some times when it is very late Bonsoir for good evening, but really prefer bonjour, because if you say bonsoir, it can mean goodbye
