Do you have sexual fantasies and such, engage in improper conduct and then feel badly after? Just curious about the consensus.

If you feel badly after having dirty thoughts, it is your intuition talking. You are being notified that you’re doing something harmful to yourself. And I don’t mean in a brainwashed fanatic way, that you will burn in hell eternally. The science got as far as being able to capture the images of your thoughts. So, the thoughts are very real. And whatever thoughts you have, the same kind of energy you attract toward yourself. That results in the events that could happen to you in your life.
You cannot see some things, but they nevertheless exist. Just like you don’t see radio waves and magnetic field, but they’re still there. People prefer not to think that a dirty thought is just like a physical dirt you can see; it stinks and pollutes you, up to the point where your physical health gets affected. It is not fun to part with the habit of having dirty thoughts. We think that it does not touch anybody, so it does not harm anybody; no one can see my thoughts and no one has a right or power to stop me having them, so I will keep doing whatever the hell I please. But it’s not about someone stopping you. It’s about your understanding that first of all you’re harming yourself and then polluting the atmosphere. Thoughts do not disappear into thin air. Even the law of physics says that energy does not disappear, it transforms into other energies. The dirt does not go anywhere; it stays in you and makes you stink. So, when having a dirty thought, just beware of consequences. then at least you can make a conscious choice.
so naturally i do work on keeping my mind clear of dirt.

Heck no. I have a very dirty mind and I don't feel the least bit guilty about it. As for "improper conduct" that would depend on what your definition of "improper conduct" is. I can say this much though, I don't regret anything I've done and I'd do it all over again.

You can beat yourself up about it if you want, but just don't hurt other people and I suspect God will be cool with it.
