I have homes (with the extended family) for all the pups, so please do not answer with negativities towards breeding. I just need to know what to expect, how to feed her, how she should be acting, how to take care of her and the pups for the first 6 weeks, etc. Thanks so much in advance.

There is an excellent book called The Whelping and Rearing of Puppies, and you may find it at Borders or a similar bookstore.
You may also e-mail me and I can help you further with the planning if you like.

At this point, if it's only been two weeks, you don't know if she took yet. Keep feeding her the normal amount of food and start switching over to puppy food. If it turns out she didn't take, then you will just switch her back the same way.
Also, you can give her a cooked egg each day, mine like scrambled. A vitamin is something to consider during pregnacy as well.
Good luck!

Her diet is of utmost importance during her gestation, but even more important after the puppies are born and she has the burden of nursing them.
Be sure to feed her a high quality diet especially concocted for a lactating female. If you aren't sure which one, either ask your vet or go to a store that specializes in dog foods and they will advise you.
You should have no problem at all at delivery time, except maybe just to watch, and dry the puppies off as they are born, and then give them to her. She'll know what to do with them.
It's a good idea to give her peace and quiet for the first 2 to 3 days after the pups are born, and just see to it that she gets to go outside to relieve herself and then right back to the puppies.

Good luck.
