At a leagal stand point it comes down to the simple question of wether she said to stop or no or anything of that nature. Cuz if she did and he continued then it was rape. I tell you that as a student and a person w/ a love of the and an ex-military police officer.
This part i tell you as a man, any guy who is purposely too rough w/ a woman and does not take in to account her feelings and body is not a guy any girl should be dating, cuz he is after one thing and it isnt love. you need to stay away from him.

Another point to consider is battered-wife syndrome... it can happen in any relationship, and even to the point where she/he cant say no for fear or reprisal. You need to get away from him and talk to someone, either a friend/family or even a couseler.

No, it's only rape if someone forces themself on you. If you willingly get naked and go to bed with a guy and start having sex that means you have consented. If anything it's very insensitive on the guy's part if the woman tells him it hurts but he doesn't stop. If this happened to me once I wouldn't sleep with the guy again. But if this happened numerous times then the woman is an idiot and should grow up and stop whining. If a man is abusive or has no regard for a woman's feelings then she needs to take responsibility and find someone else. Being a baby and blaming other people is not something a mature adult woman does.

She consented to having sex with him, numerous times. I don't think that would classify as rape. Should he have stopped when she said it hurt? Yes, he should have, but is it possible that he isn't hearing her because he's so wrapped up in the moment? Could be. You never said if she said STOP or NO. If she hasn't spoken those actual words, then i think this could be more of a emotional rape maybe but not physically. Your "friend" needs to see a doctor a.s.a.p. If she decides to keep this baby, she and the baby needs prenatal care.

Even if you consented to have sex, and he is hurting you and you are telling him to stop, that IS a form of rape. Especially if you are getting ripped and bleeding. That can lead to infections, and nasty ones. I would suggest if you are in a sexual relationship with him still, and he continues to do this, I would refuse sex to him as bad as that sounds, especially if you are pregnant! And if he gets to rough again, leave him over it. Not only is that hurting you, but while you are pregnant, you are more prone to bacterial infections which can be harmful to your unborn. So do whatever in your power to make him stop.

This sounds more like someone got upset over the pregnancy. I don't see how you could call it rape if she kept coming back after knowing that he was like that. I've never heard of anyone that was REALLY raped going back looking for seconds. People are too quick these days to call something rape or abuse. They want to shift the blame for their bad choices on to someone else. Do you seriously think a jury would find him guilty of rape if she said.."Well, I was ok with him putting it in for the first 20 minutes but then that B*stard raped me!"? I highly doubt it.

If she told him to stop and he didn't stop, I'd consider it rape. You state that it's happened numerous times. Same girl and guy? If she continues to allow it, knowing how rough he gets, it's hard to call it rape. It could possibly be considered emotional and physical abuse. But she should respect herself enough to put a stop to it. By continuing to allow it, she's setting herself up for further abuse because it wont stop as long as she's willing to allow it. He has no respect for her and is only looking out for himself. She should respect herself enough to put a stop to it. Perhaps some counseling would help her to figure out why she would allow someone to treat her that way and to gain self esteem so that she can realize she's a treasure and never allow herself to settle for someone who would abuse her in any way ever again.

If they are consentual partners, I'm not sure how you're going to make that charge stick in a court of law, unless there were some other physical signs that it crossed the line from rough sex to an abusive act.

That is definetly RAPE, the moment a girl complains about it hurting and he forces himself it is considered rape. It can be brought up in a court of law especially if there is evidence of internal bleeding.

The minute she says NO... STOP... it becomes rape. If she is pregnant and this is his baby, he is responsible for child support until that child is 18. Sweetie, DO NOT let him get away with both raping you and fathering a child. You have legal rights !! Do not be afraid to use them !! Stand up for you and that child!

Sounds like she was a virgin who was too unprepared of the pain of being de-flowered. The guy finished anyway & at that point, it COULD be rape. But since she kept letting him have sex with her time after time after time.......... without reporting him to the police and then getting pregnant without at least trying to take the "Pill", there is a thin line between his brutality & her stupidity!
