I want to watch the programs in my computer which has a satellite card. how can I split the input cable to my existing receiver in to two that makes one connection to my receiver and another one to my PC? I don't want to watch the same channel in both TV and PC.

If you have two dual output LNB's, just run 2 extra lines and route that to another switch and that can be for your additional receiver. If you don't, you're going to need to replace your LNB's with dual LNB's. You can then either go the switch route, which is fine if you never plan on adding any more receivers, but if you think you may add a 3rd (or more) you should get a multiswitch. The multiswitch should have 4 inputs, 2 from each LNB since this is a dual satellite system. The amount of outputs determines how many receivers you can run. This can vary from 4 to 6 to 8 or there's even very large ones meant for apartment complexes that have 32 outputs.

The type of switching also makes a difference as to which multiswitch you should get. FTA systems use diseqc switching, DirecTV uses 22kHz switches between 101 and 119, Dish uses SW-22's which are a type of diseqc switch I believe, so it will vary depending on your system but the type of solution will likely be the same.
