My dog has a small bump between its legs and it has been there since it had 6 months....now he has 3 years old. Is it a tumor, cancer or something that i should be alarmed?

I hope you have taken your dog to the vet since he was a pup. But, it is probably just a fatty cyst. As long as it doesn't get bigger I would just ask the vet at your next appointment, if it starts to grow I would take him in. It is weird but a lot of dogs get those. My little dog had one when he was a pup that went away. I also have had older dogs that have had them. When they are fatty cysts they can be removed but they will probably grow back. If the vet is concerned about cancer he will do a biopsy on it to find out.

good luck

It could be a tumor. Does it grow in size, or has its' shape changed any since it appeared? If it is a tumor, it could be cancerous or not. There are tumors made of sucutaneous fatty tissue - fat cells forming a tumor, this type is ok. Another possibility is that it is cancerous.
Either way, you can take your dog to the vet and they can take a biopsy and send it off to the lab to have it evaluated. They will then be able to tell what it is. The tumor can be completely removed, but if it is cancerous, the vet can go over possible treatment options. (Dogs can get chemo too!)
Good luck and I hope it works out ok!

If Its A bump And theres Hairloss Around it .. Its Cancer. You Should Take IT To The Vet Like Right Away To See If It Could Get Treated Like A.S.A.P.

A trip to the vet is indeed called for. It could be a simple fatty tissue blob. My dog has a number of them If it has not changed in size at and/or does not cause pain to the dog all its likely there is little to nothing to worry about. Having said that, it is impossible to diagnose something like that without having seen it. If nothing else your dog needs to get its years shots/checkup to ensure it has a healthy happy life ahead of it. As the dogs owner the responsibility for ensuring it gets the medical care it needs falls to you.

Have you not had him to the vet.? We must buy new tags every year and get shots for our dogs, don't you? Call a couple of vet.s offices and ask the nurse what she thinks. The vet.s give answers to help the dogs. The animal e-r may be a place to call.

there's a lot of dogs contained in the ring with (extra often than not) strong conformation. What makes an truly tremendous dogs stand out (and that i have had a million) is air of secrecy. the way one choose placed it become "this dogs comes into the ring declaring, right here i'm, provide me my ribbon". that is a few thing that is effective and no way are you able to practice for it.

It could be very serious (cancer) or it could be nothing (fat). You should take her to the vet ASAP and get them to check her out.
