no--not from pain, at that point endorphins would kick in and calm him down for 20 min. But, from anxiety or stress ----yes. Remember to use hand cuffs that have a double lock--so they don't tighten by mistake.

I have seen guys cuffed so tightly that ones hands swelled up to the point that the cops had to cut the cuffs off and he wasn't able to use thier hands for some time. Then beatened because they couldn't sign the paperworks.

I have to use handcuffs in my job and no people do not have spasms...if the hands or legs is what you are cuffing...lol if they are cuffed to tight they may have abrasions or bruises...sometimes both.
