In my country we would give them Chickpea cooked though, with rice. Also other beans as well with rice. We would give him cooked meat, bananas, avacodos, cucumber, bread, and other things. The dog would drink water and milk. He would play rocks and with old bones, guess what hes still leaving. So I don't know, whats really the big deal here?

There are a lot of reasons why people keep human food away from their dog. One reason is because some human food are toxic to dogs, such as chocolate, onion, grapes, raisins, anything with caffeine, garlic, and a few others. The things you said you feed are fine. Other reasons people don't want to feed human food is because sometimes they don't know when to stop, and the dog becomes overweight. And the other reason i can think of is because they don't want their dog to beg for their food while they are eating dinner. While i think feeding human food to your dog is okay on occasions as a treat, i personally would not want to feed my dog an over abundant amount, and i would not want to feed him while I am eating. And some people just don't give their dog ANY human food because they are unsure of what foods are safe, or they don't want their dog to beg, so they feed strictly dog food and dog treats. I think that is fine too. They love dog food and dog treats.

i have not heard of dogs getting worms from milk, though i have heard that it can give them diarrhea if fed too much milk, as some dogs tend to be lactose intolerant.
Dogs are omnivores, they can digest most fruits and veggies, and they like them too.

Because they are stupid sheeple. Seriously pet food companies advertise and give the vets kickbacks to say that we should only feed their "balanced" food. That's why we have so much more in the way of ill dogs. Cancer, this that the other thing--it's just like people now. If we all ate a proper fresh diet we would be a lot better off. I will feed a raw diet to my dogs, none of that dog food junk. Only thing you should worry about that you give your dog is avocados and milk. Not all dogs but most are lactose intolerant which means they should have problems digesting the milk. If your dog doesn't seem to have a problem with it I wouldn't worry but for future reference if you give a new dog milk and they get the runs you'll know why!

It all comes down to digestion. Dogs can not digests a lot of human food. Most dogs can eat raw meat if that is what you start them with. It's good you give something other then just meat, but I really don't think that you should be giving you dog milk, he might develop worms. Sounds like the tropics, where are you from?

To make money selling there products.

Home made foods such as mince, with vegetables, or pasta is far better for a dog than Dry Food or canned food.

Our dogs are fed on raw meat such as chicken necks/frames, beef and chicken mince, mixed with rice or pasta and vegetables.
Our dogs also love a variety of fruits.
There is no need to cook meat, dogs need the nutrients from the raw meat.
Most of the packaged dry food and canned, are full of preservatives, and the dry food mainly contains wheat and grains which offer no nutrition value to a meat eating animal.

I do know that dogs are lactose intolerant, and consuming milk is no good for them. Also chocolate can be lethal to most animals.

some dogs are allergic you see-- my dog can't take bread, he breaks out with a terrible yeast infection that leaves him all itchy and uncomfortable. for others-- feeding him chicken that hasn't been deboned means risking the possibility of hurting him because chicken bones splinter really easily-- imagine trying to pick a splinter out of an angry dog's gums or if the splinter gets stuck in his digestive tract!! also because we may use a lot of additives in the food we eat it may not be healthy for the dog-- for example salty foods make him lose fur; excessively oily foods are bad for us but worse still for dogs as they are not biologically equipped to handle so much oil so it makes them have loose bowel movements as well as predisposing them towards heart conditions and obesity and the like.

rice may affect dogs which are gluten-sensitive; and anyhow it seems weird if you encounter a dog eating vegetables and fruits. :)

Because it is virtually impossible to give the dog the correct amount of vitamins and minerals in the right ratio any other way. Plus, many of the foods that you listed can cause problems with the dog (like diarrhea, becoming overweight, liver and kidney troubles). Dog food companies do billions of dollars of testing every year to make sure that the food is nutritionally sound for dog.

Well I would say most people don't eat those sorts of things. they say not to give your dog people food because most people food is high in fat and sugars and is very unhealthy for the animal its also unhealthy for yourself lol. but seeing that diet I think it would be perfectly healthy for an animal. although dog food is scientifically made so the dog will get the right amount of vitamins and nutrients that they need to live healthy life. but if you read whats in the food its pretty close to what you just wrote there

hes still leaving?? Yes, because he is a survivor. But his arteries are clogged. The big deal here, is that we actually feed them what is good for them. If they acquire a taste for fatty foods they wont eat their dog food, which is formulated for their needs. I think you may have noticed that we are a little more sophisticated in many areas, here in America, not just doggie diets.

Well not only is it bad for the dogs digestion and overall good health. Someday you might get seperated from him and if he is found he will be fed dog food and he will not eat it nor will he like it. Be kind to your dog and feed him good nourishing dog food made for dogs.
