me and my boyfriend need desperatly to spend more time together. i miss him alot. and we need more conection to keep our love we've had for a year going strong valentines day is coming and we need to be together. i see him every 2-3 weeks. my mom doesn't want me to date and she likes him a little but hasn't took time out to get to know him. i've lied in the past just to go see him. i've been very mature about it and i'm ready to ask my mom again if i can go on a date with him again. how can i do this and be succesful.

explain to your mum that u really like this guy and hope that she will also like him. say that u really hang around with him more. ask for her blessing and try to persuade the both of them to know each other better. tell her valentines day is a special day and u really want this chance.

Honesty is always the best policy. Maybe a good valentines date would be to invite this fellow over for dinner with your family so that your mom can get to know him. If he's as wonderful as you think, it can only make things smoother. If he's a jerk, then your mom is right to encourage you not to see him.

talk to her nicely, be nice, and helpful to her before you ask her. sometimes i fake cry and it works. but do what you want.
