My husband suffers with constipation and has to have an enema to shift it. He is sick and tired of getting the nurse out to do it for him and want to get his own kit. Any idea's where I can get for him, he is in a lot of pain and sometimes has to wait days for the nurse to come. Do any of the chemists sell them if so which ones?

All chemists will sell them - but you don't want reusable, you want disposable. Talk to your doctor about doing them at home.

An enema only costs like $2. I don't think they even make reusable ones anymore.

golden flax seeds are a natural way for targeting
constipation. buy the whole seeds from gnc
then grind them in a coffee grinder/ mill.

sprinkle ground flaxseeds onto cereals, cookies
alternatively take 2 tbsp mixed into a large glass
of water .

make sure to drink enough water through out
the day , but not too much

You can buy an enema bag at the drug store. It will say enema/douche bag on the box.

I don't know if chemists sell them these days. There is a shop in Leeds that has them in stock. If you visit their web site http://www.detoxonline.co.uk to get the phone number they would probably post one out to you if you can't get one elsewhere.

Check the site www.optimalhealthnetwork.com for the equipment. You can also get some good ideas for the water mixture from www.diyhouse.com. Try these out. I hope they help.

You should be able to find one at your local CVS or Walgreen's drugstores. The pharmacist should be able to answer your questions better. Good luck in finding what you are looking for and I hope that your husband feels better.
