Suppositories work faster than anything else. You can get them at any drug store.

try drinking warm prune juice-this will help stimulate your bowels and get things moving again. this sounds gross-but tough it out-it does help alot.

you can also find glycerin suppositories at the local drugstore-these aren't the most pleasant things to insert but they will help.

increase your fiber intake over the next few days as well. things like whole grain bread, bagels, or crackers, green-leafy veggies, beans, broccoli, carrots and iron fortifed cereals will increase the fiber in your diet.

you can also try an over the counter laxative such as senokot or dulcolax.

if the bloating and pain lasts longer than 48 hours with no bowel movement-make an app to see your dr

Magnesium sulfate is usually a fast way to get relief. It can work in 4 hours. You also can try a fleets enema to give you a little relief until the other kicks in. I sometimes will drink a beer with lime and salt. This makes mine go fast. Good Luck

Have you tried Isaflush by Isagenix? A safe and effective cleanse-support product that includes five cleansing herbs and minerals, IsaFlush! encourages regularity and helps to soothe intestinal discomfort. Regularity is important for the body to eliminate waste, lessen fatigue, and to support cardiovascular health. Magnesium supports improved water absorption for better colonic function. Sit in an Epsom Salt bath - you can also take it internally for laxative help, but the bath can have immediate results. You can also take magnesium internally to help.

Peace!

This is somewhat curative, definitely preventative.

Plain whole bran cereal. And, paradoxically, it seems to work for both diarrhea and constipation.

For serious impaction, you might need something more aggressive.
