a guy is sometimes mean to you, stares at you all the time/ whenever you are around, tries to hit you with a volleyball, mumbles when talking to you, talks alot to your friends on the phone& not often to you(is he trynna make me jealous?), defends you, leaves his phone on your table, and etc.?? is it a sure sign of love or am i just mistakened...SERIOUSLY A SURE SIGN??

He could just be a jerk or maybe he does like you but any guy who cant treat you with respect firsthand, isnt worth chasing.

He sound like he's too shy to make a real move to let you know he has a serious crush on you.
He also sounds young. Young guys don't know how to let a girl know he likes her. Actually, a lot of older guys don't know how either! Yes it seriously sounds like a sure sign he likes you.
You didn't ask for advice but why don't you invite him to a movie with a group of friends - something that doesn't put you alone together in an awkward first date type of situation. Make it something easy and not too special, like a casual get together with other people.

1- he's a jerk
2- he's a stalker
3- he's a masachist
4- he's learning impaired (though this is not a fault in him)
5- he thinks your friends are more interesting than you to talk to

So yeah basically he is madly in love because each of these things, especially number 4, tells me he cant live a day without you. Go get some girl.

I'd say he might have a crush on you but is very immature.'This happened to me in highschool and I put up with his meanness. Yet he'd talk all sweet when we were alone. I was so confused.Don't be like me and let him do stuff to embarass you. You have dignity and he should respect you.Remember , you will teach him how he should treat you by your reactions.If you walk away he'll realize he has to grow up and treat you better if he wants your attention. Some guys take forever to grow up so maybe you should put your interests in someone more mature.

It means he's a goon sister. If he is a day older than 12 he shouldn't be acting like this toward a girl he's attracted to. If it's a sure sign of anything it's that he doesn't have much an ability to express himself. Forget him. If you can't see he's a loser now he'll prove it to you later on.

As far i guess.. he is in love with u... does he do the same thing with other gals.. i mean your friends and neighbours.. if not i think he s in love with u.. else .. he may do it wantedly to see your reactions .. just give him a simple talk.. for ex.,like.. if he smokes.. tell him not to.. if tat guy stops or pretends to stop (acting to u .. as if he stopped) or trying to prove tat he stopped.. then he may be in love with u..

I knew guys that treated me like this. Some liked me but one hated me and tried to pick a fight and socked me in the nose. It is one of the two extremes though.

Seems unsure with himself. May be attracted to you but is repulsed that he is. Unless the meaness is something he does as a barrior so you dont get close to him, that way he doesnt attach to you emotionally and doesnt want to be hurt by you emotionally.
