Okay, first off, I am a 19 year old male and I'm African-American, and my girlfriend, 20 is Mexican. She is now 4 months pregnant her parents know, but I am ready to meet them. But she says that her parents don't like anyone who dates their children, even though their adults, her sister has a mexican boyfriend and they dont like him because they say he's lazy, so I know the odds are against me. She also says that her mother is a little prejudice because her last b/f was black and he used to hit her and every since then her mother didnt like blacks too much, so how should I greet them to show them I'm a good person, I want them to like me?

Just be respectful and friendly toward them. Do they speak Spanish? Maybe you can try speaking Spanish to them (or at least let them understand that you are interested in learning). It will show them that you are interested in their culture and in becoming a part of their family/life. They may not like you at first, but if they see that you are a loving and providing husband to their daughter and a good father to their grandson/daughter, they will grow to love and accept you.
