If you are a friend, tell this girl as gently as possible. You also would be smart to have some sort of back up. She may not believe you.

Honestly, ive been in that situation and there is no good way. There is a slim chance that she will forgive you for telling her, unless your friendship is really strong. And besides, most situations like this usually end badly. She could go back to him and he'll stop her from seeing you or he'll try to make you look bad. Or, she'll get mad and think youre trying to ruin her relationship. Before you do anything, just think about the consequences...I say, let her find out on her own and be there for her when she does.

Are you the other girl? Who do you know in this situation? The current girlfriend, the guy, or the new girl?
It really isn't your place to get involved, but if you are friends with the both of them, you owe the both of them the best in your friendship.
If you are friends with girlfriend and the guy, I'd talk to the guy and tell him that you know that he is talking to someone else, and if he doesn't get straight that you'll tell his girlfriend. If he is actually cheating on her, I'd tell him that he needs to tell his girlfriend or you will. That way, he has the chance to do right, and you don't get involved.
Really consider if you want to get involved. She'll find out eventually on her own.

First make sure you are right. Then if possible confront the guy and tell him to deal with it or you will. If you are close to her then gently tell her, making sure you have your facts right, if not see if a trusted friend of hers can break the news. Then be there for her, she is going to need real friends.

tell her and you will become associated with that painful memory. You risk losing a friend because you blabbed when you should have just stayed out of it. Who is to say that she will even beleive you
