It's like leaving a diary out - you just don't know what some people will do.

Hopefully he respects your privacy and didn't, but he might also be thinking there's no way you'd ever know. In the future when that happens, don't call the person and tell them. There are always two things working on your side. For one, most email services (or any kind of service for that matter) have timed sessions. So in other words, after 15-30 minutes, you can bet it will expire your session automatically. A second thing you can do is to log onto your email account once you get home. After signing in, simply choose the option to log out. Once you do, all active sessions are assumed over by the email server, and the one you left running won't work any longer.

I have no idea. You are a much better judge of his character than we could ever be. It doesn't matter what we say, the real question is whether or not you believe him. If you don't, you need to have a talk with him because you don't trust him, and that never bodes well for a relationship.

I will just say that most guys would read it in a heartbeat. Go to his place and check it out.

Hmm... I think he might've checked your inbox to see if there was anything interesting (emails from ex-boyfriends, etc.) and maybe if something caught his eye, he read it.
