"If I only knew, I'd rather been a watchmaker"
- Albert Einstein
That was Einstein's celebrated quote, about his feeling of regret on the development of the atom bomb. Einstein made considerable contributions in the research and development of nuclear technology. While he saw the unlimited benefits that nuclear science and technology can bring to society (source of power for industries, medical, space, etc.), he also realized the enormous destruction that nuclear technology can bring to mankind (nuclear weapons).
It is obvious that nuclear science is beneficial to us when used for peaceful purposes, but can also lead us to annihilation if used for military purposes.
To secure peace, many nations employed nuclear weapons as a deterrence. While, this approach had been successful in the past, in reality it only brought a false sense of peace. For one thing, it only takes one suicidal and irrational leader or an accidental launch to unleash these weapons.

Nuclear Science has helped stabilise the peace. Because of North korea having such technology, USA is not pro-active. Because India and Pakistan, both having such power, they are not confronting to each other. Because of Russian Nuclear missiles on cuban soil, USA has given guarantee to cuba that they will not attack cuba. If nation having conventional weapons, they are pron to attacked by outsiders.

I hate to declare it, yet while the rigidity of terror clothing is mounting, Pakistan might relatively attempt to soothe with those clothing than seek for US help to place them down - for they could wreak extra desirable harm than the distant US. And china may well be happy to fish in bothered waters, if there's a fall out with US on in all probability breach of counter terror expectancies. the international had by no skill been for the superb or the incorrect, yet continually observed what appropriate the hobbies of its considerable powers to ensue. So it is confusing to look at matters in user-friendly terms based on the ethics or solidarity on my own. it is the reason the alternative of conflicts had by no skill been undemanding. countries communicate of peace yet desire to locate motives to interrupt peace, pontificate solidarity yet sell covert disruptive activities against their perceived adversaries. in this history of stark hypocrisy, the declared illusory aims are by no skill meant to be reached. Drug peddlers, hands smugglers, etc at the instant are not self created communities. that they have been patronised, knowledgeable and equipped with infra by way of some or different powers and directed against an adversary initially. while the operation is over and paid off, the knowledgeable goons are applying their skills on their very own chosen aims or particular aims given by way of their new pay masters! the gap between chaos and anarchy (as somebody corrects you right here) won't be long sufficient to stay cool. the factor is how the international is going to handle this great possibility, given the self centric attitude - relatively of worldwide stable - of govts and the completely helpless state of UN.
