Its because you've had too much caffeine and sugar in your system. Give it a few days and you will feel better. Try also drinking juices and teas. Your body still needs some sugar and the best way to get that is through fruits and veggies. Tea will give you a small boost of caffeine and give you antioxidants that also promote good health.

I used to drink like one 2 liter of Dr. Pepper every single day, and the all of the sudden, I got tired of it. I stopped drinking soda all together. I lost about 50lbs. Because I wasn't drinking in all that sugar. I felt crappy for the first few days, but then I felt better! So just give it some time! And, there is nothing wrong with drinking soda in moderation :)

Sugar gives you energy bursts (that don't last long...just like the caffeine habit). Water doesn't. Maybe that's what you are facing. It's a great thing that you've given up on the soft drinks. You will get used to it in time. Snack on half a granola bar or dilute a juice of your preference and sip on it. Ocean Sprays, Cranberry juices are sweet and I usually add in 1/4 cup of water to 3/4th cup of the juice.

Good for you - that is one of the best things you can do for yourself! :)
The withdrawal from the caffeine and sugar can cause that temporary 'blah' state and even more withdrawal symptoms but eventually you will feel much better in the long run. Meanwhile try homemade citrus juices and drinking a lot of water and caffeine free teas.

Well, most soft drinks contain caffine, if not sugar as well. When your body is deprived of such a pleasant energizer such as sugar, or caffine, it goes into a sort of withdrawel. The side-effects include.....suckiness. Um.....lemme see.... you could give it some time and it will eventually go away. OR, you could limit soft drink consumption by like, one or two cokes a day.
P.S: Why did you stop drinking soft drinks? it doesnt really hurt you if you are moderate in your consumption. Drink a glass of water with soda.

It will take some time for your body to adjust to the change in your diet, when you're used to taking in sugar contents, especially in soda drinks.
Don't stop drinking water, though. You may just not be used to the blandness of water, but it is good for your body.
If you want, try eating juicy fruits, like citrus (oranges, lemons), and try eating strawberries, bananas. These will replace the 'sweetness' that your body may be used to, but these are better alternatives for you, instead of sugar.

For sure, not only that you probably are having caffeine withdrawl. I just read that if you cut out one soft drink per day out of your diet for a year, you will lose 13 pounds. Good for you!!!

Yes...if you want something that's healthy with a little flavour, get VITAMIN WATER. It has a pretty good taste, loaded with vitamins...just pick your flavour and drink away.
