If you can get Chinese TV in Malaysia there many adds for schools for cooking courses,it also depends what type of style you want to learn.Do a search on yahoo China.

Taiwan has good and varied cooking schools, but I would suggest China. You need to determine what kind of food you want to prepare: there are so many varieties in China from hunanese to cantonese to shanghaiese to .... Since you are from Malaysia, you are probably good with seafood and it is near - maybe Guangdong (Canton) would be a good choice.

Go to Taiwan - Chang Kai Shek took all the good cooks with him when he moved to Taiwan, and their knowledge gets passed on.
