Under your arm are nodules that filter out blood. I had this happen a couple of times, but the MD said nothing to worry about. Maybe I had a slight blood infection. This was like 25 years ago when I was in the Army and never have had the problem again.

If they are sore for more than say, 10 days see a MD.

I had one of those, I have a few actually, had them for years and they don't really bother me.

I've noticed that if I don't poke them, I barely notice them at all, but sometimes if I work out alot of irritate it, it will get sore.

You could have it removed surgically, but sometimes that doesn't get rid of it and it just grows back.

I've heard that they sometimes just go away on their own, so you can try to ignore it until them. Or...a recomendation for the parents, put a really hot rag over it and it should drain.

seems like swollen glands which are aggrivated by many things. have you had a cold or been exposed to some sickness? even a small cut can get your immune system going. if they persist see a doctor.
