It is perfectly fine to put your laptop on your stomach, and the possible waves of radiation is not scientifically strong enough to hurt you. However if you are a male, I would suggest putting a case under your laptop if you have it on your lap. Because of the fact heat that close to your genitals may affect fertility.

yeah, on your stomach is fine.
Warning for guys though, if you keep a laptop on your lap...or sit too long in a hot tub...bike for many long hours, or drive huge trucks for a really long time, that kind of stuff has an impact on sperm count. So just watch out.

Yes. The only problem is that the laptop will get hot and you will have to move and your stomach gets itchy.

Yes but it'll probably make your stomach hot and you'll have to move it...

Not safe at all!!!
I used to do this and now I'm sorry. I used to lay on the couch and place my laptop on my stomach. My three year old son jumped on my legs, and the computer fell on the floor. One of the hinges broke! Since then, he has knocked it off of the table while his 4 year old sister was playing the Dora the Explorer game on it - the other hinge broke.
It is now supported by my old, hard-back briefcase!!! But it works fine for the kids, and I'm improving my posture by sitting straight in a chair!!!

I wouldn't. Lot of low-level radiation from the motherboard, the screen, and the battery that I don't think is safe that close to any internal organs.
