I prefer tiles sizes to be smaller so that the chances for breakage is lesser due to the amount of weight that is on the floor surface. The grout space ideally should be 0.5cm to allow space for expansion and even spacing and weight distribution. The surface should be screed and dried and dry lay method is preferred for laying such tiles

Tactile warnings
Tactile pavers should comply with the sizes shown in AS 1428.4 for external use. For
internal use a lower profile tile is preferred.
The high profile, paver type tactile tiles can cause trip hazards in places like the top of
stairs when used internally.
Tactile indicators, usage
Use tactile tile patterns consistently throughout a site.
Consistency in use is essential for visually impaired users and is important for aesthetic
coherence.
Tactile indicators, usage
Tactile pavers should contrast in colour with the surrounding finishes
Contrasting tiles allow a wider range of users to be warned of potential danger
