i have one on my pelvis and i wouldn't rate it even a 4 on a scale of 1-10. i would say 3-3.5. it really wasnt bad, the worst part was when they went over the actual bone (but on your pelvis, most of it is not going over the bone, its really not much of the total tat) and even then it wasnt bad. i went numb after a while, and by the time they got to the bony part i was numb. it sort of "awakened" the pain again, but like i said, it was a 3.5 at worst. its not as bad as people say. all depends on your tolerance of pain really.

If you are talking about the lower stomach, it really doesn't hurt very much. The only time it did on mine was when the tattoo artist hit a nerve ending, which made my stomach muscle kick up into the needle. That was only like once, other than that, it was no pain at all. I have heard that near the hipbone hurts though (mine's more near my bellybutton than my hip). But, it'll depend on your pain threshold...so no one can honestly answer this question for you. It hurts to get a tattoo anywhere. I heard that it hurts more right on the bone, but I have one across the small of my back and I can't imagine anything hurting worse than that.

i have one, and it did hurt. Not too much, but it did hurt, im not gonna lie! On a 1 - 10, about a 5. If you already have a tat, you'll know what to expect, but in that area, its a little more sensitive. Hope i helped ya!

Getting a tattoo in general hurts. I have one on my pelvis, and it hurt...but it wasn't excruciating or anything.

I have two tattoos myself. One on my shoulder ( didnt hurt ) and one right belo my neck (barely hurt). I think it all depends on the person and how much pain they are willing to take. Also is how sensitive the area i.e. how many nerve endings are in the area. So it really depends on the person.

that part of your body should have some meat on it and it wont hurt unless you are really bony, if not then your good to go...
