Especially when it gets to the point that they can't keep it looking nice, either with brushing or trimming the ends?
Or is there another reason they choose not to cut it or maintain it properly?

There is nothing wrong with long hair. But why let it grow out and then neglect it?

I think that women who have to long of hair is bad for them. It makes them look unattractive. I think that the hair should fit the person. Just because you like long hair doesn't mean it looks good on you. Most people can't wear hair that is to long because they can't make it look good because of the type hair they have. The longer the hair the more it weighs you down. By the same token If your hair is to short it can make you look bad too. I think that women should wear a hairstyle that looks good on them. But also they have to take in consideration there hair too. I like longer hair but I usually wear my hair shoulder length. If it is to short I don't like it but if I wear it to long I can't do anything with it and it looks ugly. I am growing my hair long because I am donating it to locs of love to help people that don't have hair because of a medical illness. Once I am done with that I will cut my hair shorter. Most older women look better with shorter hair.

Some people just like to have long hair.. what is soo wrong about it? In fact, they are the ones whoc could try out a very many set of beautiful hairstyles.. some people are even proud to show off the length of their hair.. well, atleast that happens in India in some places!!

I love my hair its really long it all the way passed my knees I keep it trimed and make sure it looks good its not that hard to keep your long hair lookin nice.

i dont know what they think but its definitly NOT attractive like its nice to have long hair but not so much thats on the ground like thats gross! especially when theirs dirt in it

Only when it's the hair on their heads. When it is leg hair or under arm hair it is just awful. They only do that in Europe though.
