I need to translate some words from English to Japanese, but I need them translated into Japanese CHARACTERS, not just regular letters. Does anyone know a site or any link that can translate words into Japanese characters? Not just name translators please.

You should just tell us the words here, and we can give you the kanji/hiragana/katakana.

Websites are not really that reliable, but the first website I've listed is okay. Type the word and then click the button surrounded in yellow!

I do know of them, but, like all translations coming from an artificial (non-human source), they're going to come out wrong, or at best, a little messy, since they translate on a word-for-word basis and can't get the nuances and idioms that might be used in a language. Depending on how long the thing you need is, you might just want to try Yahoo! Answers, and people can give you the translations in Japanese script.

Try:

Also, if you want, you can try enabling Japanese script on your computer, if it already isn't (just go into Control Panel and the languages icon, and click for Japanese to be active). Get the romaji (English alphabet) translation and in some word processing program, using the Japanese script, type the word in. It will come out in hiragana, but can automatically change it to kanjis for you. The hard part is knowing which kanji reading is correct, but it might help you.

Ganbatte!
