How would I go about changing a ".wps" file to a ".doc" file?

I am using the Microsoft Works Word Processor, but my instructor says he cannot access the file due to it not being a .doc file attachment.

Does Works have a Save As option that specifies MS Word (.doc)? If not, tell your instructor that Word can open MS Works files and he should lighten up!
