i go to church with a guy who is a few years older than me.we are both single but not really talked to eachother much. he is SUPER shy, so when we went to lunch the one day with others from church, we rode together and when we left, he asked me if i wanted to go for a drive, that shocked me. we rode around for a while and he showed me parts of town that i have never seen. then tonight,after church, i kinda asked if he wanted to get some supper and he said he would go with me and sit with me, i told him he didnt have to, he said he wanted to and i couldn't go by myself.so we went, and we talked for about an hour or so. Then a couple weeks later, we starting talking after church one night, and it was so cold, we went in the church basement and talked for about an hour, then for the past two weeks after church, we stay and talk in the freezing cold empty church parking lot for about an 1 1/2 hour just talking. But, he doesnt talk to me much when we are around other people. guys, opinoin?

Not unusual. Some people have not cultivated the skills in group conversations whether they are men or women. A lot can depend on the size of the group, location, who is in hte group, etc. He is likely more comfortable 1:1

haha im ms sunshine. ok, well, try getting him to come with you and the others for lunch n stuff. get him involved with the other chruch members. take an inside joke and bring it up to him infront of the group. this will make him laugh and you both can share the funny story behind it to the group. boom, connection.

I kind of like that you like him. ask him what he thinks of using a sperm donor to have kids. point out that as much as 4/5 of personality is genetic n that a woman could have really happy children if she chose a happy donor. If he likes the idea as cosmo says start "hooking up" between the sheets, groove on the shy persons company then order sperm online.
