Hmm thats really weird...i remember when i was like 15 i used to sleep on my stomach, and the fronts of my thighs used to get numb and tingly. Now I can't sleep good in the night at all, my arms and shoulders ALWAYS go numb (and painful) no matter which way i sleep, unless i throw all the pillows on the ground, lay on my stomach with my arms straight down at my sides. It's not very comfortable either! And I find it strange, because i'm only 23 not like I'm an old lady with arthritis and stuff LOL. Yea, get it checked out, I think I'm gona see the doctor it might be something to do with circulation. Oh, i wanted to add that this suddenly happened, I was always a heavy sleeper now I can't sleep all night due to this! So if it's interrupting your daily life, or your sleep see the doc. I don't know how old you are, but could it possible be a mini stroke??

I just recently had this happen to my left hand, I'm right handed, but, it's not from driving, it just happened, and it's been going on for a few weeks now, and I made an appointment with the dr. last week, but, rescheduled...I know the feeling, numb, but, the needles...go see about it from the doctor...I thought and still think the same with me, like there is no blood flow there, in which case, I don't know what they will do, and I go this week to see my dr. so if I get a result of my issue, I'll pass it your way

Hmm... the answer could be carpal tunnel syndrome.

It's a condition where the median nerve is pinched within the tunnel and causes pain and/or numbness of the wrist/hand, once thought to be a result of repetitive motion such as painting or typing, and sometimes using instruments like drumsticks too much.

So if you were ever a painter, drawer, drummer, or just felt like "steerin' it gangsta style," just don't. And see your doctor.

Steerin' it gangsta style. Haha. That's when you steer in a circular motion with the palm of your hand, like you see in many Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg music videos. I think they started that.

This does sound like carpel tunnel in your right wrist. Try icing it up in the morning and then heating it up. Then doing some light stretching. When you get to work if you can wear a wrist brace I would do so. If not wear one when you drive, it should help you out.

It could be so many things like a pinched nerve, carpal tunnel, arthritis,or tendonitis.
I had the same thing with numbness in only my two little fingers. I had surgery on the Ulnar Nerve that was pinched in my elbow.
You should see your doctor. Ice is good to use for the pain.

It could just lack of circulation. Does it help to wiggle your fingers?

Or Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Does it hurt to move your hand at all?

Or nerve damage. Does it only affect parts of your hand or the whole hand?

Sound like carpel tunnel. I was advised when I found out that I had carpel tunnel to use a brace during activities that cause your hand problems. daily hand exercise will help too.

My best advice to you is a see a doctor. I'm not even going to try and second guess something that I'm not an expert on. Please see a Dr to check out your symptoms and have the problem taken care of.

The only reason that happen is because ur hand is not getting enough blood to flow through correctly

Could be some nerve issue, go ask your doctor & he'll do some basic tests & you'll know for sure.
