A lot, I just suck it up and do what I have to do...but maybe some day I will run. I have had feelings like that for years.

You can run away, even if its just for an afternoon.
Unplug the phone
Turn off the computer and cell phone
Lock the door
Take a nice long bubble bath
Curl up with a good book
Have some chocolate-covered cherries (just a few) and a nice glass of wine.
In other words, get away from the world and treat yourself like a queen for a few hours.
Like a prescription, take as often as required (do not take more often than once per week).

With a husband of over 40 yrs, 3 adult kids& 11 grandkids, why would you ask such a question? My ans is yes most of the time. Although I don't drink, I go to a local tavern & shoot pool. I put on my i-pod on & no one bothers me. After knocking some ball together, I feel better & go home. Running away isn't the answer. As hard as it seems, faci;ng your problem is the answer. If you want to run away because your feel you are in danger call the police. No matter how bad the suitation is they can help you. If you don't trust them for some reason, call some one else.

I write a runaway letter addressed to whoever. I write down all that I'm feeling and all that I'm going through and the reasons I'm giving up and I apologize for failures and for letting people down. Then, I tear up the note. I always feel better. I discovered this when I seriously was planning to run away from all the crap I had piled about my life. I was deciding what to take and how far I could go before I was forced to find alternate means of travel. Then, I wrote the letter. After that, I lay in bed and slept. No one ever knew about the letter except my best friend.

I take a shower and imagine the world fading away.. and all that is, is my world inside the shower.. LOL yah it may sound corny but sometimes I just imagine drifting away into my world and what ever problems and annoyances are far away, when I'm there. When you return your more mentally prepared for everything that will come your way..Its a psychological thing..

Yeah! When I feel the pressures of life, it's when my heart and spirit are troubled with the worry and anxiety of life. It's when I feel like I just can't take it anymore and I need to get away from it all. The reason you might feel like you can't run away from it all is because that is fear, worry or anxiety in which you have to deal with on the inside! Everyone knows that it is impossible to run away from ones self! It may be true you feel like you have one big impossible mountain to face with all of the things that build up in ones life but the thing is you don't have to go at it alone! God and Jesus loves you! They want to give us gifts like strength, hope, faith and the Holy Spirit to over come such mountains in are life! You have to look deep down inside of yourself to something God has already implanted there! It's ones heart and soul and if you believe God he will renew your spirit and hope! Isa 40:28-31. Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He (GIVES STRENGTH) to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall; but those who (HOPE) in the Lord will Renew their (STRENGTH). They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Phil. 4:6-7. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present you requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your (HEARTS) and your (MINDS) in Christ Jesus. John 3:16. God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 1 Peter 1:3-5. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living (HOPE) through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade--kept in heaven for you, who through (FAITH) are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

Please take that as a sign that you need a break:
Five minutes
Fifty minutes
Five hours
Five days
Just take what you need - the more often you break, the less extreme that feeling will be.
Compare it to hunger. Don't wait until you are starving to eat - eat something that is good for you as soon as you feel a twinge.
Feed your life in some small way as soon as you feel you need it.

You just think about it. Think about what you can do to correct it all, to correct everything wrong in your life. You need to pay to Jesus, our Lord and Savior. He will always be there for us and will be there with us through the rough times and even the good times.
Here's a website that will help you with whatever problems you may face:

Yes, I do. If you are female, then it is your hormones gone beserk. The best advice I can give you is to focus on something else. Get out of the house. Go shopping or see a friend. Talk to a friend about it.
