i dont understand my skin color?

my mom is light skin and my dad is dark skin. i am a brown complexion in my face, but my hands are really lighter than my face. i was never that brown in the face and my hands were never that light. is something wrong with my genes or is that normal? or could my face be darkened because of puberty or something?

i think that ur normal. everyone is miscolored in some parts. my stomach is darker than my limbs. it's normal. besides, genes do work in a really weird way. my complexion changes overtime.

He did not win because of his and he didn't win by the all black vote. He won because he was the best candidate. The turnout was much larger then Bush's last election and Obama carried the largest percent of young voters. You can vote for any person you choose but skin color should not be an issue, at least not in this century. However sadly in YA it does seem to still be an issue

Go to a dematologist and discuss your problem with the doctor. There are also creams and lotions on the market that can bleach or lighten the skin as well as darken the skin. If you go that way, be sure to go to a professional, because you could really mess your skin up if you don't know what you are doing.

That is completely normal. All skin types tend to be uneven. My arms and waist are darker than my face and legs. Everyone is unevenly coloured for the most part. Alot of people just never notice it on themselves.

well, i know I'm olive skinned, and that's like\... you don't get sunburned easily, and I'm naturally tan, but not "sun" tanned. I think youre just light brown, just darker on your face. My face is lighter than my legs. and my arms are darker than my hands, so I think you're "normal". I don't think you should worry. :)

You are probably just tan. It's hard to get tan on you hands.
